:) // Hey hey, I'm Maria from the Tatonka marketing team and I take care of social media. When I'm not looking at my screen or cell phone, I try to spend as much time as possible outside. Preferably in the mountains, of course. Whether it's on a hike, a motorcycle tour or on a via ferrata - I always keep my eyes peeled to create beautiful outdoor content and touring tips. :)
Tour tip: Lake Seebensee and lake Drachensee are worth a hike.

Tour tip: The Seebensee and Drachensee lakes

It is one of the last sunny autumn weekends this year. We want to take advantage of the great weather on Sunday to start another trip to the mountains. To avoid the hustle and bustle and the crowds as much as possible on such a beautiful day, we get up extra early and are on time for the first mountain ride at 8:30 a.m. at the Ehrwalder Almbahn, where our hike starts.
Hike from Salet to the Röthbachfall.

Tour tip: From Salet to the Röthbachfall

Our tour started in gorgeous weather at the Salet pier at the far end of Lake Königssee in Berchtesgadener Land. To get to Salet, you take a boat from Königssee. These leave about every 30 minutes and the round trip costs 25 euros per person (effective October 2022). The lake crossing alone is picturesquely beautiful and the color of the water is truly incredible when the sun shines on it!
